Weather indeed.

It's Portlandy out there... Glum... Drizzly.. And cold. I have a couple hours till I mobilize to get this last day with Dave into high gear. He is off rehearsing then he heads to XM Radio to record with that really nice lady he is going to be touring with. I think the web is uber monitored by her people and her fans.. So I'm not even gonna type her name. I will say this... Dave loves working with her and says she is incredibly genuine and talented. I hold true to my mantra that Dave really does surround himself with seriously decent down to earth folks. I feel pretty grateful to be included in that circle. The weather really is a downer... Glad I never moved up to the Pacific Northwest. It woulda killed me. I'm planning on late night driving with deer-filled highways. It's just a fact. Should be a good night though.. My treat will hopefully be to lay eyes on my pal Jane for a few as she said she would try and make it out. It would be great to really get to catch up with her... It's impossible to do that at a Susan Werner show anymore. Her brow is usually furrowed and she's rushing around and no time for any hang. I know how that is... It's always great to see her and I love getting to see Susan shows whenever I can. I just get so disconnected by not randomly texting or calling. People are busy.. This ain't about me. And Facebook is not a real way to stay connected. Face to face or actual conversation is what fuels my connectedness. I'm gonna go get connected to some breakfast now..
