On this evening... we gathered.

Townies came together to watch the interviewing of Gene Conners our City Councilman  and Adriana Zavala-Badal our mayor about this civil union measure being passed... a small but mighty group gathered as instructed by Gretchen and others on facebook.  and we cheered them on. We had KOLD and KVOA down here.

Funny enough, the L.A. Times covered it yesterday. click the link below to see the photo and article. Once again, The L.A. Time AZ Bureau Chief Cindy Carcamo wrote a good story on the historic event.

I am packing for my quick trip to San Diego/Long Beach on Saturday to see Jeffrey, Chili and Susan Werner, Natalia Zukerman and Trina Hamlin. And also The Famous Jane. If you have to ask... you don't need to know.

Tour schedules getting scrapped... and a bit of begging to get back on the stage managing crew in VA for the Sea Level Singer Songwriter Festival in the last 24 hours. Lucky I know a couple of high up over there... they can still use me so betcher arse I am going.  Not quite the financial boost I would have got from touring.... but I get to see my crew in VA and...

Wait for it...

MY CAT MARVIN!!!!!

Oh, and probably get to meet Glen Phillips (the headliner) who is a total coffee loving guy and the lead singer for Toad The Wet Sprocket. Pretty fucking cool... I love his music! And we may get to hear some new stuff for the band too! Toad The Wet Sprocket has an album due out mid 2013 which is soon!

Yay!
