It's really about daylight savings. We rolled into the hotel after midnight, and the plan needed to be to get the band to the airport by 4:45. Getting by on little sleep happens, so no big deal. Until daylight savings happens in the middle of your 4 hours of sleep and you now get 3. It screws with your mind for sure and you feel slighted. And tired.
They all wandered down to the lobby like the pros they are at 4:15 (3:15 body clock) and now the band is off to Jamaica for 3 days of recording with Handel Tucker.
The show was great, and a perfect way to end this quick run. I slept till 11:00 and now I will prepare to fly back to AZ this afternoon. I asked Raymond Azan how the fundraising went, and he was happy with everything so... more beds and frames for orphanages in Jamaica, and lots of love between this community and that beautiful country.
