This time of year is pretty much heaven here in Bisbee. High season does in fact seem to coincide nicely with this gorgeous weather. The birds are happy, the trees are all coming into their green-ness, the business owners in town are happy that the tourists are here en masse, and the bugs are back! Ok, the bug thing.. not such a plus. My front porch and step are the I-95 of ant traffic. Of course I kinda want to let them be... but I don't really. Not much of a fan of ants crawling on my when I am trying to relax on the porch.
So,
I am going to give them a chemical detour. Pondering this as I listen to the sweet sounds of Amber Rubarth and down coffee like it's my last day on earth. You never know, it could be the last day. May as well make it a good one! If this was my last day, it sure would have been a good start... and hopefully the end would be after I attend the Sigur Ros show up in Phoenix tonite. I can't believe I am actually schlumping to Phoenix for ANYTHING!!! But dammit, it's Sigur Ros! If this were my last day, there would be an overwhelming bunch of love and gratitude in my heart. And a few less ants on my porch.
