from TN.

I am just now getting around to actually being on a computer to do a real post. It's been a bit of a whirlwind with large groups of people, and the Blackberry Jam pre/post tasks. One thing I didn't mention from Saturday was that I actually got to meet the greatest road manager of all time, Phil Kaufman. I have attached his wikipedia page in the link below.
The Mangler

Holy crap... me and The Mangler! My life is pretty much complete. It doesn't get any better. He's beyond a legend. Seriously look at the link. He came out because he is very good friends with Bob Saporiti, who was our emcee. Bob offered to call Phil to get me on the phone with him and once he handed the phone to me, I basically just said ,"Get here, I will VIP the hell out of you!" And I did.. and as he was leaving, I had him sign my ample and sweaty cleavage. What more could I possibly give?

Anyhow, got out with my pal Steve (Marvin's daddy) to a club last night to see my pal Markey sing with Walter Trout. A fantastic show that pretty much speaks to the level of beyond talented musicians that come through Nashville and that live in Nashville. Literally, the last 2 days have been a complete overload of talent. There is no denying this. And me being the complete talent snob that I am, I am basking in all of this like there is no tomorrow. I have met so many people who have been in this industry for so long... I am the true neophyte. And, they all seem to get that I am capable and willing. Who knows what comes of this all. But the best part is I still get to go see my pals The Andy T/Nick Nixon Band do their jam tonite at Bourbon Street and hopefully I have enticed a few folks from the festival to come out and join us. And, we will be in the tour bus for this run to California and back next month... The Funderbus is fired up and ready to go!

Look out!
