It was in fact Christmas in July! The morning had good Mother Unit time, and the afternoon had time with my pal Lizzy. And I wrapped it all up with a home cooked dinner and then fled Tucson as I tried to beat the monsoons that were moving in strategically to every area I needed to go through to get home. Only a few torrential downpour areas. Once I hit Cochise County it was smooth sailing. A damn good birthday was had. If yesterday was any indication, I'm going to love being 48.
