I want to do more with music.
I. Really. Do.
The Andy T/Nick Nixon Band is really gaining some traction, and yet, I am such a luxury item to all of these musicians I work with and have worked with. I seem to be kinda stuck in a place where people see my value and want to have me on a run, and the prospect of having me along sounds great, but the money just doesn't make sense.
That I chose this tour managing as my true passion is troubling still. Things could go on a nice upswing with this blues band... they really are quite freakin' good. Where will it go? Who knows? Once again... left wanting more. Always left with that.
On a lighter note... I think I get to work SXSW this year.
Grateful I got some sun on my face and in my soul today. And now with only 2 shows left (fri/sat) I want nothing more than to figure out what I can do to keep music stuff flowing in my world.
