Let's sum it up.

The tour was great.
It was a bunch of fantastic music.
Made new friends.
Saw old friends and it was so good.

Enjoyed our featured players in a big way. Have really loved every time I have gotten to work on a show with Dana Robbins The Sax Goddess, and now I can say I have enjoyed working with Janiva Magness too.  Four gigs is a fair amount of time to figure out what people expect from me. As a somewhat seasoned professional in the art of kitten wrangling, I can say I did well.  So grateful..

I cannot take a moment of this for granted.

And now sitting here in San Diego.. I am watching Timothy the rescue kitty run all over the living room with new-found strength jumping up on things he hasn't really been able to jump on because of maladies that have slowed/stunted his growth and caused him to be a bit of a special needs little guy for now. He is pretty adorable and as he is most likely full grown but still kitten sized, it makes him special. Not really in a Marvin toothless cat kinda way, but in a lilliputian kitteh kinda way. Timothy is pretty proud of himself having scrambled onto a chair, overturning a pillow, and deciding it's the perfect resting point.
