So I am staying at a relatively nice hotel in L.A...
They guy in the room next to me is a door slammer and literally the loudest talker I can ever remember hearing. I'm not kidding.
The door slamming is... well... never mind. That guy is obviously an unconscious douche.
But all that douche-tasticness aside, we are gearing up for tonight's trek to Ventura for our reunion with Janiva Magness at Yolies. The folks who do the shows up there are super nice and we are all very excited to be getting to go back. I may even get to meet someone who I have been planning out all of these Mia Dyson shows with as he lives in Ventura. That would be so faboo!
My brain is full of details and I definitely have a bunch to do in the next several weeks. That spells out goodness for me... boredom is the absolute worst! Got to have a great chat with Pete from Central School Project in Bisbee about the Bisbee Love Hangover Weekend. It's gonna be pretty stellar. That guy has a good heart in the right place and the smarts to back it up. Love getting to do dealings with the folks at CSP!
It's gonna be a beautiful day...
