I am up way too early to get all my stuff pulled together, and then go to work for a couple hours then up to Phx. The band picked up their van last night, and they are leaving early this morning to be in the Northland (Phx) area around 2. I loaded the van last night, and then sat back and and just took in a few breaths. Really concentrated-breathing-from-your-diaphram breaths.
I'm not worried about the Bisbee show anymore. Hoping for good turnout in Phx and Tucson, but I cannot even begin to gauge that. The rest is just show up and do what's in front of you and be as calm as possible when you realize you still don't have everything you need to set up, and that you never ask for enough help.
Yes.. there is some large fear residing in me this morning. It's part not being good enough.... and part what if I didn't do enough? Which is really all the same. And that is a freakin' old tape.. it's not even a decent mixtape. The sound is dull and boring. But holy fuck it's there.
Ok... time for music to fill the wee house and time for my 3rd cup (3 cups in by 5:19 am!!).
