One of the gifts of detaching a bit from my current position is an ability to let go and see more gray areas on the job. No, not everyone wants to get in there and kick ass, take names and make the store shine.
That is just a fact.
I just love to do my best, and really... it doesn't matter if some of my coworkers are apathetic.
I get it. Apathy happens.
I'm cautiously optimistic about the coming months where my touring career is concerned. My schedule is not full by any means, but the energy is there and there is all kinds of room for possibility. I am gonna roll with that on this day.
All I have is today anyhow. If I were to get squashed by a falling box of organic walnuts at work and meet my demise, at least I would have gone out with a heart and mind full of forward energy and appreciation for what I have.
