Cincinatti to Detroit

Here we are at the home of Ron and Mimi (last name omitted to protect the innocent) After being fed the most amazing meal of curried swordfish, fresh asparagus,,broccoli, potatoes and salad, I'm up here in the attic of the most lovely house here in Detroit. We left our beautiful hostesses Tracy and Liz in Cincinatti at around 1:20 pm after making them the "Eggs El-Frida" dish I have been dying to share with people. No... we are not cooking in the van.. yet.. but we want to! Liz packed Trina and I off with the sweetest assortment of goodies in a brown paper bag, so we felt like we were loved and off to school, just like the old days... when I wasn't ditching school, that is. We have The Ark tomorrow night... big deal.. big show... come out if you are in the Ann Arbor area! I think our draw will be pretty good, T seems to have some fircely loyal fans up here in Michigan! Big shoutout to Ron, Mimi, and Sandy for being HUGE champions of the cause!

Trina has a radio interview very early 9a.m. and so she went ahead and got drunk on hot toddies... just kidding... tho she did have one in hopes it will soothe her budding, bothersome, mucosa issue. We are off to Chicago the next night to reconnect with Rachael and Meredith for the New Arrivals 2 gig and I'll be interested to see where dinner is there... another Cracker Barrel perhaps?

I'm loving working for Trina..people really love this woman... I mean fiecely... not weird (except for the marriage proposal in Evansville..) but a seriously loyal fanbase. She's really building momentum in so many ways. We have had too much fun with El Frida, the turf, and our GPS system that we named Katie Magellan. And Trina will be doing some guest posting VERY soon so you can get her perspective on things as well as updates on "BLT" our tomato plant. Try and guess what that stands for...Keep your eyes peeled on Trinas website and myspace page.. She's going to upload a hot version of a song for a limited time. Going to throw a couple short vids up from a little backlog... but can't seem to find the tape from the beginning of Inside Out, so the short clip I will post is but a start. I think Miss Hamlin felt like she was genuinely appreciated in spite of the raciness of the video. (that got your attention, right?)
