We are catching up on phonecalls and emails today... it's been a great day. We had some rain, which was really nice. It may rain out our plans to go see Joan Armatrading tonite... Trina has some pals who know her manager... and I'd love a shot at pitching Trina to her. In Indy Cathy and Joyce said Trina could've gotten the opener slot for Joan if she wasn't already booked for her gig with The Hamilton's on Thursday at the Living Room in NYC.
So we are planning to go to the show at this point even though the rain is a definite threat. So much good momentum and opportunity coming Trina's way. The gratitude I feel for being on her team is overwhelming... it doesn't even feel like work. In talking with Jane Paul today, I realize I have a good compadre in her... she and I are both so passionate about the music that Trina and Susan are putting out..and so grateful we get to do this.. she of course having done it for eons, and me the neophyte but nonetheless, a true kindred spirit. Shout out to you, Jane!! Get your camera phone... we need some "footage"
