I look at him every morning when I make coffee. It pleases me.
Hit the ground running this morning and just now have a second to sit and do a bloggy post. I had to launder, provision, and battle a little Saturday traffic here. It's turnover day...checkout from your timeshare by 10 am.. and check in at 4pm. So I'll be glad I'm not out in the chaos as people shuttle on and off the island.
It's a hot one out there. Heat index of 105. And ain't nothing dry about it.. so glad I'm indoors!
Indoors and snacking on some fresh watermelon...after juicing some fresh pineapple/watermelon for the daily offering here. Lots of nice people coming through here and I feel like I can appreciate the goodness as my mood continues to lift up. Man.. I guess I need to acknowledge that I gotta be a helluva lot more diligent than I have been in keeping my shit together. I usually do a Landmark course to tune-up.. and there is usually some good 12 step work that goes on.. and I neglected to do any of that maintenance in my downward spiral.
Oops.
Sounds like some complacency.
Connecting with some therapeutic folks and some 12 step folks has been good.. and I should go assist at a Landmark course. That always gets me set on the right course.
And taking time to enjoy what I have here now...which is ABBA on the ipod, healthy snacks, air conditioning and a plan to head to Atlanta next Thursday/Friday to see Natalia Zukerman at Eddie's Attic and see my pal Julie's band Tricksy too.
