Tricksy

Here they are in their first public appearance... TRICKSY! Fun night taking it all in on Thursday! They are getting ready to do a bit of the derby circuit in the SE and they kickoff the touring season with a benefit at The Earl later this month to help raise funds for the gutiar tech for the Indigo Girls who had a stroke and no insurance. It's a nice tight music community here in alot of respects. Good music, good causes and who knows, maybe an Indigo Girl or two might show up at that?

And last night was Natalia Zukerman, Sam Baker, John Fulbright and Jess Klein at Eddie's Attic. Powerful songwriting.. excellent music.

I have missed Natalia live... after having gotten to be around her performances for the last 2 years, to be without it was Saddy Mc Sadderson.. Last night was a good dose (although never enough..) and she never disappoints! Sam Baker was quite a nice new talent for me to hear, and John Fulbright was probably the best 21 year old performer I have heard in a long time. And on top of that, Shalom (the legendary sound guy at Eddie's Attic) turned me onto Darrel Scott.. which was a serious treat. So I'l be looking into more of him toot sweet!

And now, sitting here with Rosey on the couch looking back at a great bunch of music.. my heart is happy.
