Brussel Sprouts.

I'll be you didn't know that brussel sprouts are en vogue here in Bisbee. And many other parts of the country too. What started out as a silly whim of Kelly's has let to a beautiful marriage of the brussels and mexican food! It's basically been my fave thing at Poco. And I am not alone... the are all the rage with the locals tto. That's a good thing.

Yesterday brought some troubling news from a couple sources... but both sources seem to be doing the best they can to keep it light in spite of some less than desireable circumstances... one health related and one a robbery. There isn't much I can do in either case, but I tell ya what.. these folks are on my mind big time this morning. I just had to start out a bit lighter on the wee bloggy post rather than jumping into the heavies. I am super aware of how my words equal my world these days..

I'm delving into a dancy slightly more hip genre of music on Pandora this morning that has me creating a Chromeo station which has yielded ultra perky electronic from Chromeo and Daft Punk as well as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, DeadMau5 and MGMT. Certainly much more mainstrean than I usually go... but we had some Chromeo last night on a playlist at Poco and it was great! I'll say out off all of these they still are the ones I am preferring. But with Pandora you choose one... you get all the others. Some are pretty good too.. some... not so much.

And today... we have a sumnny day ahead...dunno how warm it's gonna be, but I will say it was kinda chilly yesterday. I can't believe I'm here in AZ wanting it to get warmer! I must be getting really old! I hate summer in AZ! That evil orb won't quit! It sizzles every last bit of happiness and comfort right out of you! Then again... all of my experience has been with nasty hot summers in Tucson... Bisbee seems a bit more forgiving. And 10 or so degrees cooler.

Once monsoon hits, it's way cooler! And a bit of a secret from the rest of the world. It's usually more like 15-20 degrees cooler with really cool evenings! Can't wait to try the brussel sprouts!
