That is probably a combination of the fact that it's Roberta Flack's birthday and the fact that I am singing it so loudly in my mnd for one of my fave songstress goddesses! Let's face it... Roberta Flacks voice was one of the best ever! And she and Donny Hathaway... forget it! It was delicious vocal/musical perfection.
This is so beautiful... Oh Roberta! That video is from 1988 and while that is a while ago, so what? Did she she not nail it? Yes she did!

So funny you posted this ... did you know that Roberta Flack did not write this song? Lori Lieberman did. Check her out, she's a touring artist in her own right ... and she's a fan of RS' so they know each other too. Small world. :)
