It's time to check for scorpions.
I personally have not had any yet. But a pal just had a triple stinging in bed. Blech! This means bang your shoes before you put them on, make the bed extra tight, get the damn clothes off the floor, and hope for the best. I hate to say it, but I'm gonna invest in some bug spray around the house. I am not a fan of scorpions...(who is?) and I wish they weren't so damn small and yucky. We gotta coexist. But I can put up a barrier.
Bisbee is a super buggy town. We have wasps nearly year 'round, and all kind of flying things and creepy crawlers. All the more reason to stay on top of it and try to get the house sealed up with insulation, weather strips, door sweeps etc.
I'm off to take a stroll with a pal for a little exercise and chat. Then working the later hours at Poco. And I gotta go bang my sneakers so I can get moving!
