Relief.

The chiroprator did me good.. a bunch of good.

On top of getting a really good explaination of which muscles are causing my reoccuring problems, I got cracked and stretched and walked out in the upright position which is huge progress. The chiro spent 2 hours with me. I still hate Sierra Vista... but this lady is worth the drive for sure! I'm stretching about every hour at this point and she'd like me to continue doing that for the foreseeable future.

Then I wake to news of a tsunami.. (via twitter)
My first concern is for my pal KK who lives waterfront in Juneau. I fired off a text message to her, and while I have been monitoring  the effects of this in Hawaii, I feel somewhat relieved that there is no massive damage, so hopefully AK will be  safe from major damage...

The loss of life in Japan is devastating! Seeing the vids on the interwebs is unsettling to say the least. Makes me think about the whole deal of living waterfront. I have longed to be waterfront..even though the "boating accident" took away some of my desire to be "on the water" I still long for the ocean and the feel of the breezes, the smells, the moisture, the everything. It was just a few years ago that I traveled to Long Beach Oregon to look at property close to the water that might be affordable. I was still making money then in real estate. And as I drove around that town, I saw cute houses that were a little too moldy for me... and a town that was depressed in look and feel back then. And that was before the real estate bubble had burst!

I thank my lucky stars I am in Bisbee today. And I do have waterfront property in the rainy season, so I should just shut the hell up. It's time to stretch!
