Trashy 70's radio again..

I am thrilled by the crapaganza of 70's music I am partaking in this morning. Since I can't be working in music right now, I am filling my ears with as much of it.. old and new, that I can get.  It's my thing for sure!

Yesterday was pretty freaking cold and the car show did prove to be a bust for business and probably the town as a whole. The good news was that there was no rain! We had a delicious cilantro pesto in the Poco last night that I got thrown on some rice with a bit of roasted sqaush for a snack and that was pretty super delish.

It's my Friday... and I am looking forward to cracking open a book by Clive Davis that was written 30 years ago about the music business. That should be interesting! That's my plan.. .and I'll be trying to get some mylar tape or something up on the corner of the house to aid in asking the birds to please not nest there.

I passed up on an opportunity to go hear a bunch of my pals do karaoke last night... I guess the thought of walking home at midnight in the cold was more than my tired legs could handle. I realized that I rarely get out on the social side of this town anymore and I guess I can fix that. If the event is enticing enough...

I do feel like I prolly woulda enjoyed last night quite a bit... just not after 10 hours of work. Who knows, in the summer maybe the hours will get skewed? I have no idea what a summer looks like here in Bisbee for a business.  I haven't spent a summer in AZ in a loooooong time. And I guess it looks like I am due for one this year.

I am determined to make it good no matter what.
