Nothing says get your heating stuff worked on more than a cold snap/storm that will be hitting us probably tomorrow. A predicted 25 plus temperature drop has us below freezing if it really happens.. So thankfully my pal Ben is under the house routing gas pipe to be able to hook up the vent less heater. Fingers are crossed it can get done in time.
My silly little dinner gathering went really well... my pals brought goat cheese they had made, and gluten free/dairy free ice creamy bars. It was an evening filled with lots of laughter paired with intelligent conversations about cynicism, sustainability, authenticity and dogs.
I do kinda wish I had hung out with them more. Good quality folks that have great stuff to offer this wacky world!
But I'll see them again.
Well, since there is a minor construction project going on here I think I'll venture out to do my daily post office run and then settle in for some reading of editing digital movies. I do want to try to get this stuff from Iowa edited down for Quad Cities Arts.
