Oh the interwebs are a cruel mistress this morning! I am getting Deoro's submission for SXSW together and it will most likely require a trip down to the public library to get some REAL internet (a skosh faster?) than the signal I am currently stealing.
I popped into the Halloweenus Party at the Central School last night with Sergio Mendoza y la Orkestra and got to see a bunch of pals and hear some fun musica! They have a good schtick. Traditional, cool, but not pretentious. All very appreciated by me and seemingly the local denizens who turned out in costume to be sure. I of course was a total party-pooper and waived any costuming ideas away as if they were flies on a hot sunny day. Now it's get this EPK done for Deoro time and get all the media uploaded so the submission is complete..
At least it's related to music, and it's helping guys I love!
The soundtrack this morning is AManda Palmer and her magical ukulele with her Radiohead cover disc. It's quite sweet and had me reaching for my uke last night at 10pm to give it a spin.
Check this out... if this doesn't endear her to you nothing will.
