One of the most unstoppable humans on this planet. Give it up for Pete Seeger!
When I was in Norfolk working on the Sea Level Festival, Kelly and I went to see a documentary on the whole Greenwich Village folk scene. In that movie, Pete Seeger's wisdom filtered through above all else. Timeless words of banding together to do good... and do it with respect to our lands and our people.
I joked about how badass he is. And has always been. And joked about making a tshirt proclaiming just that. And then I did this:
And while it would apparently be too offensive to wear to my wee job, I will sport it this evening in my act of love and celebration of the day Pete Seeger was brought in this world. A true treasure and a real leader in just every way you could figure. And The Original Peaceful Badass,
