The Mother Unit was in good spirits and better shape all around today. I am so happy to be able to see the progress! It's still gonna be a tough bit of road ahead as she is just so weak, but she got her sparkle back in her eye and was just so much more herself.
I grabbed Lizzy and she came with me for the evening visit.
Earlier, a woman who was seatbelted into a wheelchair asked me if I had a hammer... she is the woman who shares a room with my mom.
Unnerving and funny at the same time.
