Umm... anything can happen in Marfa Texas!
While driving out into the depths of Marfa last night looking for the famous "Lights of Marfa" guess who got pulled over by a Texas State Trooper ? Yup... Team Hamlin in our van "The Frida" . I guess it's how they find all the drunks... but we were just driving looking for the damn lights we never saw. I got a written warning(read:souvenir!) and Trina made friends with Trooper Pearson as he apparently plays a little hamonica himself. We did get a little bit of him on film telling us about the lights, then when I asked him if I could film him he said I probably shouldn't. I obliged, but not after filming most of "The Incident in Marfa."
We cruised thru Bisbee on our way out of Tucson the night before and suprised the crew down there. Very nice to give one last big hug to those amazing people I now call my town-mates! I don't live in Tucson anymore.. wow! The journey has kicked off with a bang.
We will be uploading video in a couple days. Keep checking back, Trina will be playing at Kerrville with Susan tomorrow. I want to try to get some footage up from that as well as Trooper Pearson.

Well, you probably deserved being pulled over, I mean you were DRIVING in Texas, right?
