Damn! That's Hawt!

I cannot even begin to say how much I love this poster... Jimi from Bisbee Pop Narcotic came up with this the day AFTER he sent the ones I thought were the one... Judas Priest! This guy has the goods! I will print all 3 posters for the show and they will be plastered all over town by the end of this upcoming week.

This show is going to be a bunch of fun... I just got word that Rachael is bringing a cello player! She couldn't get Dave Eggar. And while he is my personal fave (for a bunch of reasons..) I know that Rachael only works with superior talent so the new guy, Ward Williams will add a soulful dimension to the show to be sure.

I am excited that Sally and I get to do this again. While I'd like to think I have a decent ability to put on shows that have good attendance, I haven't even begun to do what I can do here in that realm. The new theater The Bisbee Royale is going to bring some serious talent to this wonderful town... and it just gives the rest of us schlubs who want to bring shows here a good challenge to get people out to hear even more varied types of music in smaller venues.

The Royale is going to be a beautiful venue.. you can just feel it. Even in it's current state, there is a vibe in there and you can get a sense of what's to come. I personally am excited as hell for it to get open.

In the meantime... I am gonna be out telling everyone who will listen about the Rachael Sage Show on March 22nd at Roka..

If anyone remembers the 90s band Jump Little Children, they should be interested to know that Ward was a key member of that group. :) He has a very different approach to playing the cello, it's more of a bass-and-fiddle style that really works well with Rachael's music, especially her new songs. Plus he's an awesome dude in general. :)
